Library

Boasting a collection of 18,000 books, the library is a sacred place, a temple of knowledge, which is open and accessible to all students. In order to instill a habit of reading from a young age, the school has made ‘Reading’ a designated period in the student’s timetable.

In the digital age where information is accessible at one’s finger tips, we teach students to dig deeper, to read books, which do not strain their eyes and allow them to formulate their own opinions.
The library treasures a cornucopia of books including fictional, non-fictional, magazines, articles as well as books and resources required by students to prepare and study for competitive examinations such as UPSC, GPSC, TAT, bank examinations etc. In an age where the internet and print media induce the senses to race, one also requires the quiet calm of books and newspapers to be read in the silence of the library.

Computer Laboratory

The computer laboratory is essential in the current curriculum for students and we take great pride in our computer lab. Here young minds are ignited to question, discover and search the world web. The computer laboratory is regularly updated with the latest computer models, powerful internet supply, which is essential to successfully carry out research and project work. The laboratory also has a smart board, which is used as a teaching aid medium by the teachers.

Psychology laboratory

Decorated with abstract wall paintings and equipped with the necessary tools, the psychology laboratory is used by the Bachelors students of third year psychology and Masters. Students engage in various experiments here and also sit through and conduct practical’s, which are an integral part of their learning process.
The practical’s conducted at the laboratory are an essential aspect of learning and enhancing one’s logical experience. Key aims of the New Educational Policy 2020.

Science laboratory

An important part of the student’s education experience is the science laboratory. Performing experiments by one’s own hand, helps students understand the concepts of science with more clarity as it entails learning by doing.
When basic experimental skills, which are part of the textbook and curriculum are learnt by systematically performing the designed experiments, the foundation of the student in the said subjects tends to be stronger. Students are encouraged to break down theories here, question their own findings and think outside the box. Concepts of physics, biology, chemistry and mathematics are taught here.
