Shri Nandkunverba Kshatriya Kanya Vidyalaya was founded in the year 1917 by the late HH Maharani Saheba Shri Nandkunverba Saheb of Bhavnagar who believed in the emancipation of women. At a time when women were confined to the four walls of their home, Maharani Saheba, took a bold decision to abolish the purdah system and provide girls with a holistic education. A feminist before the term began to trend, the institute strives for all round development and equal opportunities for girls.
